THE BIG REVENGE
Looking back at the early school years, he was the worst in class at running and the last one to learn how to swim. Press fast forward a bit and he’s the winner of Ultraman World Championships in Hawaii, a legendary triathlon race, beautifully described as “an athletic odyssey of personal rediscovery…the next step in the endurance challenge of being human”.Being the worst in class didn’t stop him from swimming around Gotland, the biggest island in Sweden; or for that part Phuket, the largest island in Thailand. This sharklike guy didn’t settle for just that. He even swam between Sweden’s biggest cities Gothenburg and Stockholm; and is the only one who has participated in all renowned ÖTILLÖ Swimrun Championships since the start in 2006. A personal revenge like no other.
Jonas Colting. He’s a norm-breaking predator. Protective, focused and forceful, but also humble, analytical and compassionate. When he decides to go for it - he does, and he does it with the power of the mind and the power of the body. Giving and taking. Many of his endeavours have been for charity, while some others made him conquer World Championship medals.

Jonas Colting was born in 1973, and lives in Borås, Sweden, together with his family. This is also where he organizes Borås Triathlon and Borås Swimrun, as well as diverse training and coaching camps. In several interviews Colting speaks about satisfaction and what that is to him. He’s a strong believer in the fact that humans are born to be in motion. And if you preach it, you gotta live it too. Always moving. Always motivating.Colting is a tough nut to crack. But if we would put one word on him it would be passion. Whether you share his world view or not - it shines through.
